We Want To Hear......
Good or bad we want to hear from our recipients. That is why we phone all the Australian recipients 7 - 10 days after they have received their gift. If we don't have a phone number we will send a survey in the post.
Why Do We Bother.....
We understand only too well how difficult it would be to complain to the person who has sent the gift and so if there is a problem we want to ensure we hear about it. Often the case is that the recipient is over the moon about their flowers and we hear some lovely stories.
The most common responses we hear over the phone are:
- I can't believe how long the flowers have lasted, they look as good as the day they arrived.
- Who are Flying Flowers.
- Why did my friend in NSW use Flying Flowers who are in WA
- I have received many flowers for my birthday and Flying Flowers have outlasted them all

Our Results
In 2009 we have delivered to over 2,700 recipients of which over 97% of them were over-joyed with their gift and expressing the sentiments outlined above. We did experience just over 1% that actually had problems with the delivery; the courier had delivered to the wrong address, or left the gift in an area that wasn't discovered until days later or delivered whilst the person was on holiday. For all these situatiions we would have agreed with the recipient the necessary action to take. We had just over 2% who mentioned something about the quality of the flowers not being up to the usual and dealing with a natural product this does unfortunately occur due to either the courier mishanding the flowers or simply the flowers not performing due to natural conditions like disease or particular weather conditions during time of growing.
One thing we know we wouldn't find out half these stories if we didn't bother to phone the recipients as we know how hard it is to pick up the phone to complain ourselves. Often is the case that the recipient of the flowers are so impressed they ask for more details on our service so they too can use Flying Flowers to send their family and friends gifts.
